Spencer < /CENTER>

My interest in the Spencer family is as it relates to the 1826 organization of 
Spence Chapel, a United Methodist Church and cemetary  in Graves County, Kentucky, on land donated by James Jorden Spencer.  The "r" is said to have been dropped some time prior to 1887, for reasons unknown.
